How to use this page

IMMARBE is Belize’s statutory maritime administration and registry. Pharaohs Marine reviews the working route, prepares the file, coordinates submission and tracks issued documents. For class and statutory work, when our surveyor appointment and the appointing organization’s current Belize authority are confirmed, our appointed surveyor can conduct the applicable survey or audit and manage certification directly from our office through that organization; if the owner selects another authorized society, we coordinate with it. For seafarer routes, we submit training files to an approved centre or eligible flag-document files to IMMARBE as applicable. IMMARBE or the named society, RO, RSO, training centre or practitioner remains the issuer.

Use this route for: Cover one approved delivery voyage, including a scrap or tow/ballast delivery case.

Use this route for: Open Belize registration while the owner completes the permanent-registration file.

  • Application Form for Registration of Ships.
  • Application of Ship Station License.
  • Ownership evidence such as a Bill of Sale, Builder’s Certificate, Judicial Sale Instrument, Deletion Certificate or qualifying MOA.
  • Signed Belize shipping-agent appointment and Certificate of Incorporation where applicable.
  • Previous-registry deletion or certified extract/permission to transfer, if available.
  • Sanctions Affidavit, radio-accounting confirmation, Minimum Safe Manning application and delivery-voyage crew applications when applicable.
  • Conditional Bunker, Nairobi Wreck Removal, Civil Liability, ISPS, owner/operator and company-security applications when triggered.

  • Six months; up to two extensions of three months each may be granted.
