Endorsements under Comoros:
Provisional certificate of endorsement (CT) is issued valid for three months with possibility of extension of another three months
During the three months period full term endorsement is issued with the same validity of the national license
Requirements for crew endorsements under Comoros:
- Original Application Form duly completed and signed.
- Original or true certified copy of a valid STCW ’95 Certificate of Officer issued by a “White List” Administration
- Officer’s Medical Fitness Certificate issued during the last 12 months (maximum)
- Four (4) coloured passport sized photographs
- Sample of the Officer’s signature in case the Application Form is not signed by him.
- Copy of the officer’s valid National Passport.
Requirements for ratings endorsements under Comoros:
- Application form.
- Copy of Seaman’s Book/Certificate of Discharge documenting two years of experience or
- Letter of experience from vessel operator for the last two years of experience
- Copy of national certificates of competency (for ratings forming part of a watch)
- Medical fitness certificate for seafarers, maximum 6 months old
- Copy of four basic safety training certificates
- Copy of security awareness certificate
- Copy of passport with min. 6 months validity left
- Digital color photo of applicant on white background

- One working day processing time for endorsements
- Assist for medical certificate if not available
