Seafarers’ certification under Honduras

Certificates of competency in Honduras are open for foreigners after obtaining STCW courses from an approved training center by Honduras

ID card
Passport (in case of foreigners)
STCW courses by approved training center
Submit a copy of the seaman book with sea service pages
Letter from the company in case of increasing tonnage restrictions for vessels on which seafarers works
1 JPG digital photo, the file name must be the full name of the seaman and should not weigh more than two megs.
Medical Certificate stamped and signed by the Doctor (2 year validity)

Provisional certificate of endorsement (CT) is issued valid for three months with possibility of extension of another three months

During the three months period full term endorsement is issued with the same validity of the national license

Validity Certificate to endorse with the amendments of STCW/95
Address, e-mail, fax number and telephone number of the maritime authority which issued the Certificate for its validation.

One working day processing time for endorsements
One week for COC renewals, upgrades and new COC
Assist for medical certificate if not available
License endorsement
GOC endorsements
Endorsement of Ship security officer/ Designated security duties or Ship security awareness
